Thai PM Willing to Meet "Red Shirt"
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva willing to dialogue with anti-government protesters, "Red Shirt", but only if the demonstrators did not increase the tension.
"The Prime Minister was willing to sit and talk about it, to convene a general election provisions and amending the constitution," said government spokesman Panitan Wattanayagorn, Wednesday (04/21/2010). "Our position is the same. We are open for negotiations and negotiating, which is possible only if they act in a way that does not create tension."
Panitan leader did not comment on the emphasis that their demonstrators would only speak through a third party and will not hold direct talks with the government. Thousands of anti-government protesters have occupied a luxury shopping areas along the 2.3 km in Bangkok which is located adjacent to a business district that kept hundreds of armed soldiers.
