Things were looking up for Mr. Punch. After the tragic mistake of faking the deaths of Robert, Mr. Punch and the child, the group of friends were finally on their way toward reuniting once again. Thanks to Marjani, Robert, Adrienne and the baby were safe and able to communicate with Mr. Punch and Cecil who waited for them. Barbara’s change of heart and the assistance of Charles added strength to their fight. Despite the interference of Ulrika and Arthur, Marie Laveau, Giovanni Iantosca, and, of course, Iolanthe Evangeline, it seemed that Punch and Robert would be able to finally leave for England with “Colin” and start a new life.
But, all of that was soon to change. Robert, Marjani, Adrienne and Colin soon found a new threat in the strange alliance of Giovanni and Marie. As Giovanni threatened Robert with a knife, we were left wondering who would survive.
Meanwhile, Arthur and Ulrika revealed to Iolanthe the facts of the deception which landed her in prison. And, then, to make matters worse, Arthur set about his own agenda by drugging Ulrika with the very same herb she had used on him.
However, the biggest threat of all might just reside within Julian/Mr. Punch. From inside their shared body, Julian urged Mr. Punch to listen to a tale told by Naasir’s spirit. As Naasir revealed that Punch and Robert were not destined to raise “Colin,” Mr. Punch became distraught. Punch’s grief was soon interrupted by a strange, new booming voice. Could it be that a third personality lives within that body? What could that mean for the future of Julian/Punch and their loved ones?
We’ll get these answers this week as a surprising twist ends up changing everything forever. Come back on Monday for Chapter 251 of Punch’s Cousin. If you’ve missed any chapters, you can read them in the Chapter Archive.
Many thanks to those of you who have been reading Punch’s Cousin. I promise this week’s chapters will not disappoint you.

Reminder: "Punch's Cousin" Will Return on Monday
Last week as Punch’s Cousin moved ahead, Barbara Allen had quite a shock when she discovered that Julian, Robert and her son will still alive. Barbara vowed to live an honest life and not squander her newfound chance. While Cecil was doubtful, Mr. Punch believed his master’s sister and welcomed her to stay (along with Charles) in their home.
Meanwhile, life was further complicated for Barbara—and everyone else—when Arthur returned to New Orleans along with his seedy companion, Gerard. Cecil told Arthur that he and Punch would help him if Arthur continued his seduction of Ulrika Rittenhouse and retrieved the missing blue diamond.
Speaking of Ulrika, she was thrilled to see Arthur and wasted no time in using him for her own plans. Leaving Iolanthe’s ill child at Edward Cage’s house, Ulrika and Arthur hurried to the prison to tell Iolanthe that she’d been framed for a murder she did not commit. Enraged, Iolanthe vowed revenge—as she does.
Adrienne, Robert and Marjani ended up at the home of one of Marjani’s friends—the Routhe family. Mr. Routhe delivered a message to Punch and Cecil, letting the two men know that they were safe, for the time being. But, were they? With Marie Laveau and Giovanni Iantosca lurking outside, their peace might be in danger.
Furthermore, Julian’s getting antsy. Calling Mr. Punch in to their private internal room, Julian had a message for his other half—and a surprise visitor. Naasir’s spirit lingered within Julian. What did he have to impart to Mr. Punch? We’ll find out this week.
As Mr. Punch and his friends face threats from Iolanthe, Ulrika, Marie, Edward, Giovanni and Arthur, they’ll soon discover that circumstances aren’t going their way. Look for Robert to do something truly surprising and expect to see Marjani’s strength tested. Will Barbara be able to resist Arthur’s odd charms? A big turning point will come this week as Punch’s Cousin continues.
Many thanks to all of you for your continued support! This promises to be an exciting week!

Reminder: "Punch's Cousin" Will Return on Monday
Poor Mr. Punch! In last week’s chapters of Punch’s Cousin, we saw Edward Cage corner Mr. Punch and his friends after his valet, Odo, hijacked their carriage. As Edward demanded his son back, he grabbed Adrienne, insisting he’d not release her until the baby was returned to him. For once, Ulrika’s intrusion worked to their advantage and Edward let Adrienne go. Ulrika, who happened to have possession of Iolanthe’s son, proposed a scheme wherein she’d keep her silence about the false murder of Punch/Julian, the baby, and Robert in exchange for the Fallbridge Fortune. Clearly, Mr. Punch was no interested in what she had to say. Robert seized the opportunity to speed of in the carriage with Adrienne and “Colin” inside. Luckily, the happened upon Marjani on their way.
Marjani, who had just managed to escape the torture of Marie Laveau, guided Robert and their charges to the home of some of her friends who agreed to help them. But, they all knew that they were working on borrowed time.
Meanwhile, Barbara narrowly escaped an attack by Charles’ murderous brother (by konking him over the head, Mr. Punch style) and reunited with Charles who told her that they could start a new life together. Bereft upon learning that her brother and son had been “killed,” Barbara tried to murder Giovanni, but Charles stopped her. Of course, as a murderous fellow would, Giovanni vowed revenge.
Furthermore, life is complicated by the return of Arthur and his slightly dimwitted new friend, Gerard. Arthur’s first stop was the house on Royal Street occupied by Mr. Punch and his friends. Cecil surprisingly proposed that Arthur assist them in not only distracting Ulrika, but also retrieving the stolen blue diamond. Later, Cecil and Mr. Punch realized that probably wasn’t a good idea.
This week, with Arthur reunited with Ulrika, Iolanthe in prison—furiously waiting for her own brand of justice, Barbara and Charles on the run, Marjani still on Marie’s list and Giovanni bent on revenge, Mr. Punch will have an even more difficult time than ever in protecting his nephew. It promises to be an exciting week! If you’ve missed any chapters of Punch’s Cousin, you can read them in the Chapter Archive. Come back on Monday for an all new Chapter!
